Driving Development Through the Regional Coordinating Council
As Regional Minister, she has led efforts to strengthen the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) to improve development planning and coordination among the region’s assemblies.
Key initiatives include:
- Monitoring development projects across MMDAs
- Quarterly performance reviews for local assemblies
- Strengthening sub-district governance structures
- Supporting improved revenue generation systems for local governments
- Promoting sanitation enforcement and environmental protection policies
Under this initiative, assemblies across the region mobilised over GHS 80 million in internally generated funds in the first quarter of 2025 to support development projects.
